Jordan Rolfe, 30, from Holton St Mary, raised more than £2,500 for Great Ormond Street Hospital through an Ultra White Collar Boxing (UWCB) event at Trinity Park in Ipswich. Inspired by his children and motivated to reclaim his health after the pandemic, Mr Rolfe decided to take on the challenge not just for himself, but for families facing far greater battles. Mr Rolfe said: “Since the pandemic I had allowed myself to lose control over my health; I became lazy and overweight. “Even small things like playing in the park together were a challenge. “My boys are my absolute world. I knew that something needed to change or I would risk missing out on special moments.” His decision to support Great Ormond Street Hospital, a hospital that specialises in care for ill children and young people, came from personal experience. He said: “My sister was in GOSH a number of years ago, and a few of my close friends have children suffering from a critical illness. “I cannot even begin to comprehend what it must be like, so I wanted to play my part in making a difference.”
