Peterborough-born and bred Leon Haynes-Chambers turned 20 recently and featured in the main event on the city’s first Outcasts boxing show held at Vines at the Peacock on London Road.

“Despite not getting the win, I am proud my first influencer boxing fight saw me hold my own against Braveheart, a much more experienced fighter known for his hard punching power. “More than 40 friends, family members and supporters came along to watch me, and which made headlining the Peterborough show so very special. “I’ve gone from a child who seven years ago saw no future to a young man who feels he has everything to live for. “I wanted to build my confidence, learn how to defend myself, control my emotions and channel feelings positively.
