Healthcare assistant Kim Brogan wanted to thank Macmillan for the support they gave her 64-year-old dad Gordon, after he was diagnosed with head and neck cancer at the start of this year. The 34-year-old from Linthorpe, who works in the children’s emergency department at The James Cook University Hospital, decided to sign up for Ultra White Collar Boxing (UWCB) and raise money for the charity as her way of saying thanks.
