The Origins of White Collar Boxing
'White Collar Boxing' began in New York in 1988 when a doctor and an attorney trained for a few weeks before facing off at a black-tie event. The term 'white collar' originally referred to business professionals participating in the sport. Today, white collar boxing has evolved into the fastest-growing contact sport in the world, welcoming people from all walks of life.
The Rise of Ultra White Collar Boxing
Ultra White Collar Boxing (UWCB) was founded in 2009, hosting its first event in Derby. This marked the beginning of an explosive rise in white collar boxing across the UK, now present in over 100 towns and cities.
UWCB is the most established organisation in the UK, with a mission to raise £50 million for charities worldwide.
Since 2013, we have set an ambitious goal of raising £1 million in a single month for good causes. To expand our impact, we launched Ultra Events in 2017, introducing Ultra MMA, Ultra Comedy, and Ultra Adventures.
In March 2024, we proudly achieved our £1 million fundraising goal. Moving forward, we aim to replicate this success every March.
